Position Descriptions:

Archery/Hunting Content Creator

Position Overview
We're seeking experienced archery, black rifle, crossbow, waterfowl, tree stand, spot-n-stalk, and saddle hunters and target shooters to create authentic, engaging content featuring JAKT Gear products in the field and on the range. This independent contractor position allows content creators to showcase their archery lifestyle while testing and reviewing our products in real-world scenarios.

Available As: Remote 1099 contractor position only

Content Requirements
Photo Content

• High-resolution product photography in field settings
• Action shots demonstrating product use
• Behind-the-scenes hunting/shooting preparation
• Detailed product close-ups showing features

Video Content

• Product reviews and demonstrations
• Hunt footage featuring our gear
• Technical shooting tips and tutorials
• Short-form content for social media platforms
• Equipment installation/setup guides

Deliverables & Compensation
Per-Project Rates (Industry Average)

• Professional Photo Package (10-15 edited images)
• Short-Form Video Content (60-90 seconds)
• Long-Form Video Content (3-5 minutes)
• Instagram/TikTok Reel
• Written Reviews with Photos:
• Written Blogs with Photos (500-1,000 words)
• Deliverables to be posted on your social media channels after approval

Rates vary based on complexity, quality, and usage rights

Required Qualifications

• Active hunter or competitive shooter
• Minimum 3 years of documented hunting/shooting experience
• Strong understanding of archery/shooting sports equipment and techniques
• High-quality camera equipment (DSLR/Mirrorless or professional-grade smartphone)
• Basic photo/video editing skills
• Active social media presence in the archery/hunting community (min. 2K followers)
• Legal right to work as an independent contractor in the US

Technical Requirements

• Access to professional photo/video editing software
• Ability to deliver content in specified formats
• High-speed internet for file transfers
• Capability to shoot 4K video (preferred)
• Equipment for quality audio recording

Contract Terms

• 1099 Independent Contractor status
• Content rights transfer to JAKT Gear upon payment
• Must sign NDA and content usage agreement
• Contractors may work with other non-competing brands

Production Lead

Position Overview
The Production Lead at JAKT Gear plays a vital role in our manufacturing process, focusing on material preparation and quality control. This hands-on position ensures accurate preparation of materials and maintains high-quality standards throughout the production process.

Available As: In-warehouse W2 position only

Key Responsibilities
Material Preparation

• Measure, mark, and cut materials according to product specifications
• Perform material fusing operations following established procedures
• Count and verify all components before releasing to production
• Maintain organized workspace and material staging areas
• Document material usage and maintain accurate records

Quality Control

• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy
• Perform measurements to ensure products meet specifications
• Complete finishing operations on manufactured items
• Document quality checks and maintain detailed records
• Identify and report quality issues

Packaging

• Assemble product components according to specifications
• Package finished products according to established procedures
• Verify correct packaging materials and documentation
• Ensure products are properly labeled and ready for distribution
• Maintain clean and organized packaging area

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math skills for measuring and counting
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Able to move throughout the facility regularly

Production Associate

Position Overview
The Production Associate at JAKT Gear is responsible for producing and assembling products or components using specialized equipment and techniques. This position offers flexibility with both in-warehouse and work-from-home opportunities.

• Remote 1099 contractor position

Key Responsibilities
Production and Assembly

• Review and follow standard operating procedures and work orders
• Perform precise measurements and assembly of components
• Utilize specialized equipment including looms for paracord braiding
• Maintain consistent quality throughout the production process
• Complete production reports as required

Quality Control

• Conduct regular quality checks throughout manufacturing process
• Ensure accuracy in measurements and assembly
• Maintain organized workspace and materials
• Follow established quality control procedures
• Report any quality concerns or issues

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Reliable and punctual
• Physical capability to perform repetitive motions
• Maintain arm-hand steadiness

Industrial Seamstress

Position Overview
The Industrial Seamstress at JAKT Gear operates electric powered sewing machines to produce a variety of items such as straps and pouches in accordance with product specifications. This position requires attention to detail and skilled operation of industrial sewing equipment to maintain our high quality standards.

• In-warehouse W2 position
• Remote 1099 contractor position

Key Responsibilities
Production and Setup

• Set up and operate industrial sewing machines, selecting appropriate threads
• Alter machine settings to suit different material types
• Use marking tools to identify areas for sewing or cutting
• Follow detailed work instructions to position and guide materials through machines
• Create prototypes and samples as needed

Quality Control

• Inspect materials and finished products for quality standards
• Maintain samples of finished products for reference
• Ensure all tasks meet product specifications
• Document quality checks and maintain detailed records
• Identify and report quality issues

Equipment and Materials

• Perform general preventative maintenance on sewing equipment
• Assist with kit assembly when needed
• Maintain organized workspace and material staging areas
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order
• Document material usage and maintain accurate records

Required Qualifications

• 1 year experience with sewing operations
• Experience using industrial sewing equipment
• Knowledge of needle sizes, fabrics, and machine-threading techniques
